'Final Destination' comes at No. 1 position at box office with $28.3 million.

'Final Destination' takes over first place of Brad Pitt and Quentin Tarantino World War II saga Inglourious Basterds, which slipped to second place with U.S. $ 20 million.

Estimated Sales of Friday to Sunday :

1. The Final destination, $28.3 million.
2. Inglourious Basterds, $20 million.
3. Holloween 2, $17.4 million.
4. District 9, $10.7 million.
5. G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra, $8 million.

It was very much open question for the creative relevance of 3-D cinema. But when the history of 21 st century of hollywoods embarce of 3-D is written , ti very well may point to this weekend as the moment when 'Final Desination' sales goes to $28.3 m.
